Once we've established that equirental is right for you and checked your insurances, we will then set you up with an account to be able to manage vehicles, pricing and bookings. This will be your one stop shop for everything horse box hire related, including instant SMS alerts for new bookings, security deposit management and iCal calendar feeds.

3. Promoting your vehicle

We run targeted advertising that helps drive traffic to your booking pages as well as offering a simple search tool that allows customers to find available boxes across the UK. Got your own website? You can link directly to your boxes which will show up to date calendars and pricing, as well as instant online booking.

4. Start earning!

Once your vehicle is live you can start earning immediately. Payments are made directly in to your own Stripe account and you will recieve SMS and email notifications of bookings. Customers make secure payments online for bookings reducing the workload of your admin team.

Performance-based pricing

Here at equirental we believe in fair pricing which is why we charge a small commission on bookings to cover advertising and development of our platform. Our standard rate is 10%+VAT which is charged monthly based on bookings completed. Payment fees for Stripe are the responsibility of the agent and are currently charged at 1.5% + 20p.

Digital due-diligence

We understand that dealing with paperwork is time consuming and costly, therefore we've created digital copies of the top insurance questionnaires to allow you to collect driver information online. Doing this reduces the time taken at collections and allows you to vet your customers at an earlier stage.

We also collect DVLA check codes, proof of address documents and driving license details so that you can be assured of your hirers before they arrive.

Secure damage deposits

Holding cash security deposits brings risks and taking card payments can become costly for small businesses. Our platform allows you to securely put a hold on a customers debit or credit card for free and in the unfortunate event of your vehicle being returned damaged you are then able to charge up to this amount to cover insurance excesses, damage repairs or refuelling costs (Stripe fees apply if a charge is made).

Hassle free booking

Our instant online booking allows customers to book your vehicles 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without needing to contact you. All bookings are managed via our Agent Admin, allowing you to control vehicle availability, collection and drop off times and pricing.

We are also able to make provisional bookings that require your acceptance, collecting the payment from the customer once you approve their booking.
